DescriptionThis is a used Gibson Custom Shop 1954 Les Paul Reissue Chambered guitar. The item pictured is the one you will receive. It has been tested and gone over by the experts at our shop. When a guitar is purchased from us it undergoes a final setup check before shipping to ensure it’s playing optimally. It is then packed with care and shipped to your door! (But please be aware that it may need slight tweaks upon arrival due to weather differences, jostling during shipping, etc.). Please read the description carefully and check over all photos for condition and wear. We do our best to describe all items as best as possible and note any wear we find, but please be considerate that it is a used piece and it won’t be perfect (Unless noted as “Mint Condition” or “10/10” for condition). If you have any questions about this or any other piece of gear we have, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help!————————-Condition Notes:– Condition: 8/10– Fret wear: There are some extremely light divots starting to form in the first position of the B and G strings upon close inspection, but hardly worth noting! Frets are still 9/10!– Any wear of note: This guitar shows some light players wear in the way of light dings and scratches here and there. Mainly on the top and around the very edges. The most notable and visible are pictured as best as possible. The back of the neck has also had some steel wool taken to it to take away some of the stickiness of the gloss finish. But the guitar is still in amazing shape overall! The pickups were also switched out to an early 80’s DiMarzio Super Distortion in the Bridge and a Humbucker From Hell in the Neck (original pickups are NOT included), and the pickguard is missing.– General notes: This is truly an absolutely killer Les Paul! It’s such a resonant and lively guitar with tons of mojo. It’s so responsive and touch sensitive too. The chambered body and wraparound bridge are sure to play a big part in that, along with the chunky 50’s neck carve! It’s got plenty of meat on it, while still being really comfortable and easy to get around on. The DiMarzio pickups are a stellar addition as well! Providing a great tonal palette and that patented double cream look. It’s really an outstanding guitar that’s a true player and an outright tone machine!
