DescriptionThis is a used Collings SJ Indian acoustic guitar. The item pictured is the one you will receive. It has been tested and gone over by the experts at our shop. When a guitar is purchased from us it undergoes a final setup check before shipping to ensure it’s playing optimally. It is then packed with care and shipped to your door! (But please be aware that it may need slight tweaks upon arrival due to weather differences, jostling during shipping, etc.). Please read the description carefully and check over all photos for condition and wear. We do our best to describe all items as best as possible and note any wear we find, but please be considerate that it is a used piece and it won’t be perfect (Unless noted as “Mint Condition” or “10/10” for condition). If you have any questions about this or any other piece of gear we have, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help!————————-Condition Notes:– Condition: 9/10– Fret wear: You can sort of see some extremely light flat spots starting to form in the first position of the B and G strings upon close inspection, but hardly worth noting! Frets are still 9.5/10!– Any wear of note: This guitar is in incredible shape overall showing very little normal players wear! There’s a couple of extremely light dings on the top that you can only notice if you catch them in the right light. It also exhibits the normal extremely light swirling/surface scratching in the clear coat (Very standard wear for a used guitar. Can happen from simply being wiped/cleaned with a cloth) that’s also only visible in certain lighting. But all very minimal and minor, and to be expected from any used guitar. Nothing that will really photograph in that regard. Again, the guitar is in incredible shape overall! It’s fully structurally sound. No cracks, repairs. Action is at a nice medium height with plenty of projection and tons of room on the saddle!– General notes: This Collings SJ Indian is truly an outright stellar instrument! You can immediately feel the attention to detail that Collings puts into their work. This particular guitar is so lively and resonates beautifully. It has a gorgeous woody timbre to it and is really touch responsive and dynamic. It has really rich and pleasing harmonic overtones and a really versatile tonal palette. Plus, it’s an utter dream to play!
